Dimmable RGB LED bulbs are for this. One command can turn on all the lights to 100% in soft white color. Another can set them all to 1% and orange color. The color change makes the room even darker than just setting the lights to 1% at normal color.

Once I heard us referred to as The Oregon Trail Generation, it has stuck with me. It’s the perfect descriptor for people born somewhere close to 1980. We were the ones to have an analog childhood and a digital adulthood.

Think of it like corporate Darwinism. The purpose of a corporation is to make money. In broad strokes, this means many decent organizations are acquired or put out of business, with the greedy money-first companies getting huge.

The typical high deductible health plans these days only seem to work well for people that need like no healthcare, or people who need a ton of it.
My secret trick is to have an incurable condition where the medications to hopefully stabilize you or slow progress of the disease are so hilariously expensive that the pharma company will pay all of my out of pocket costs. It’s like my employer pays me my salary, then my insurance company pays an entire separate yearly salary to the pharma company.

I’ve never seen anybody do Krusty so dirty. He’s just a depressed celebrity with substance abuse problems. Necessarily a bit shady, probably not a great role model, but there is a human being somewhere under that makeup!
