Credit scores require you to get some kind of debt. This is because it’s not a score of your financial health. It’s a score of how reliably you repay your debt.
Of course it is. The point here is the process itself protects that neutrality. You can’t skip it just because it’s obvious to 2/3rds of us.
They aren’t there in good faith.
It’s not like they’re arguing over something emergent like pulling a drowning man to shore or something though. And it’s a better system than the closed encyclopedias where the facts are whatever the company determines. So while it sucks that we have to have a discussion to tell the trump supporters they can’t censor Wikipedia (again) it’s better than the alternatives.
Oh his page is going to be locked for years after this if they don’t allow any inclusion. It’s the only way to prevent it from being repeatedly added. We’ll see how it goes. For what it’s worth half the problem seems to be that he has a leading sentence instead of a leading paragraph.
That doesn’t mean an encyclopedia should buy into that.
It’s Wikipedia, even the Nazis have to try to sound rational or they get banned. Don’t be fooled by the tone. They are lying and there’s tons of articles of politicians with their criminal history in the lede.
Conservatives are in there arguing we can’t call him a convicted felon until he’s exhausted his appeals.
Yup. Because those are the IP addresses they’re going to go after and accuse of vandalism. Totally.
It’s already locked and even the talk page is restricted. Past that Wikipedia won’t even let me log in to participate.
Not going to be surprised when this magically disappears.
Make yourself some home made Mac and Cheese someday. Then make sure to burn the recipe so you can save yourself from that daily temptation.
Edit to add, whatever you do. Don’t add chili. Real ChiliMac is a level 5 paranormal entity that will haunt you the rest of your life.
It’s none of those. General Dynamics produces the humble 155mm artillery shell. It’s not flashy but artillery has killed more people than any other weapon in modern warfare.
That’s hilarious though. I grew up with guns, was in the Army, did the whole combat thing, and now I don’t think we get any peace from gun violence until we return to lower power ammunition and bolt action/revolver/lever action weapons as the cap on civilian firepower. (Basically take the spring out from behind the bolt. So you have to manually chamber the next round.)
And if anyone wants to wield something heavier they need to show up for drill and annual training. But they don’t get to take those weapons home.
That way we have our well regulated militia, and legitimate hunting/self defense weapons without also arming every murder-suicide mental health case with enough firepower to make an entire police department stare at their shoes and pretend they don’t have a duty to kick that door.
In high school I asked why tanks weren’t such a thing in Vietnam. And my Vietnam veteran teacher worked it around to how Ho Chi Minh was ignored by everyone except the Russians after World War 1. Seeing how all the lines came together to make that happen and then make the Vietnam war feel almost as inevitable as it was forlorn really gave me a sense of history.
He was my math teacher. My history teacher literally put names and dates on a slide for us to copy.
Mhmm yeah it could be that.
I’d be worried if they were different.
Where the heck did you eat? Corporate McSteakhouse? If the response when asked about beer is Bud or Coors then blink twice, you need help.
Look I feel sorry for the Italians and the Germans but their food is American now. It’s just the way the world works. :)-
The handle. It’s a satire account
