As a Chinese person, the mental image of OP smugly posting this to “own the tankies” in the same way MAGA dipshits post “Let’s Go Brandon” hoping to own the liberals has given me a near lethal amount of second hand cringe.

Please, for the love of god, never approach a Chinese person with this attitude irl. This is on par with ordering an “Irish Car Bomb” in an Irish pub on St. Patricks day, or saying “grassy-ass” to your Hispanic server instead of “thank you”, or trying to use anime Japanese around Japanese people, or code switching to AAVE around black people.

You wrote 西 (xī) which means west. You probably meant 习 (xí), referring to the president.

Also in “Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China” you wrote 金 (jīn) which means gold, when it should be 就.

…how often do you interact with Chinese people? Whenever I go back home to Wuhan I don’t really see much oppression happening.

Like 99% of people on this platform already agrees with you, it’s really not a contentious issue. There’s no significant MAGA or Russian nationalist instance federated. None of their supporters would see it, it would be a completely moot point.
